Metakompetensi dalam Matematika Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan

Abstract


Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan No. 34 Tahun 2018 bahwa tujuan dari standar kompetensi lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) : (1) menguasai ilmu pengetahuan teknologi dan seni serta memiliki keterampilan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembangunan; dan (2) berkontribusi dalam pengembangan industri Indonesia yang kompetitif menghadapi pasar global. Hal ini dilakukan dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan akan tenaga kerja untuk mengembangkan IPTEK, untuk keperluan penelitian dan untuk mendukung kemajuan industri. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kerangka teoritis tentang metakompetensi, kemudian mengukur metakompetensi dalam matematika dan Pengembangan metakompetensi pada matematika di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Hasil Kajian mendapati bahwa, metakompetensi merupakan sebagai kemampuan universal untuk menyelesaikan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan mengaktualisasikan diri. Terdapat empat pengukuran dalam metakompetensi, (1) grounded theory, (2) kuesionar, dan (3) wawancara. Metakompetensi dapat dikembangkan menjadi strategi dan teknik pengajaran dalam bidang matematika.
